If you have ever popped the hood, or frunk in some cases, you will find something missing. An engine. Electric vehicles don’t have an alternator that is being powered by an engine. Instead, you have a large battery pack that the vehicle is powered by. An EV still has a 12 volt battery for supplying power to certain parts of the car but now instead of the alternator charging the battery, its being charged by the battery pack. Depending on the size of the amplifiers that are powering the speakers, you will be taking driving range away from the battery pack. Don’t worry though, the amount of range being pulled isn’t as much as you think.
